About us

Twenty-four people. Ten of them make things.

Most agencies are media buyers who outsource the creative. We are the other way round — a production team that learned to buy media, which is why our clients get shoots every month rather than stock photography and a scheduling tool.

How we are built

The shape of the team is the whole argument

You can tell what an agency actually does by counting who it employs. Here is ours, by discipline.

Six of those ten are video editors — the single largest function in the company. That is a deliberate choice, and it is why a client can expect two shoots a month rather than two posts a week made from whatever already existed.

Why that matters to you

Ads fail on creative far more often than on targeting

Every platform's targeting is now roughly as good as every other platform's targeting. The algorithms have converged. What has not converged is what you put in front of people.

When a campaign underperforms, the honest diagnosis is almost always the creative — and an agency that has to brief an external studio, wait a week and pay for a revision cannot respond to that. It quietly optimises the bidding instead and hopes.

We can reshoot on Tuesday. That is the entire reason the team is built this way.

On one restaurant account, ASMR-led reels shot in the kitchen took average views per post from around 200 to about 1,000.

Nobody targeted their way to that. Somebody stood in a kitchen with a camera and recorded the sound of bread tearing.

The same logic runs through every account we hold. Content volume is not a nice extra on top of the media plan — for a small business it is the media plan, because the creative is the only variable left that you actually control.

FOUNDER

The person you will actually meet

Aina founded Ainovate and still runs the client side of it. If you enquire, she is likely the person who replies, the person who walks your Business Profile and your ad account, and the person who tells you if we are not the right fit.

She is in the market rather than behind it — at the exhibitions, the networking rooms and the restaurants and clinics we work with. Most of our clients came from a conversation rather than a campaign.

What we believe

Four things we will not compromise on

01

Fix the destination before buying the traffic

We have refused to run ads until a client's website worked. Paid traffic pointed at a broken page does not underperform — it evaporates. That conversation costs us money and we have it anyway.

02

Your accounts stay yours

Media budget goes directly to the platforms. You keep the ad account, the pixel, the data and the audience — whatever happens between us later.

03

We publish the campaigns that failed

Our case studies show the AED 103 campaign alongside the AED 3.37 one. An agency that only shows you its best month is showing you its luckiest week.

04

We do not claim what we cannot evidence

Platforms measure clicks and enquiries. Revenue sits in your till. Where we model a return we label it as a model, and we say so on the page.

Straight talk

What we turn down

A list of what an agency declines tells you more than a list of what it sells.

01

Enterprise procurement

If you have a purchasing department, a six-month vendor onboarding and a legal review, there are agencies better built for that than us. We will tell you so rather than waste two months of your time.

02

Work we do not believe in

If paid search is wrong for your margin, or your product needs fixing before your marketing does, that is the answer you will get. We would rather lose the sale than take a fee for something we expect to fail.

03

Advertising we cannot verify you are licensed for

Before a campaign runs we check the activities we intend to advertise against your licence. Anything not clearly covered comes out of the campaign. It takes a day and it is not optional.

04

Pretending to be older than we are

We are a young company. We have not been here twenty years and we are not going to write that we have. What we have instead is thirty-seven clients you can call and four engagements documented down to the failed campaigns.

Where we work

Dubai, and the businesses that actually run it

Our clients are restaurants in Karama and Deira, clinics in Jumeirah, trades and maintenance firms, salons, property brokers, recruiters and e-commerce sellers. Almost all of them are owner-operated.

That is not a stepping stone to something bigger. It is the market we are built for. The large agencies in this city cannot service a business at this size profitably, and it shows in what those businesses are offered instead.

We know what a customer costs in eight different sectors, because we measure it every month in thirty-seven accounts.

That is a genuinely unusual dataset for an agency this size, and it is the reason a new client gets a realistic number in the first conversation rather than after three months of finding out.

Come and find out whether we suit each other.

Send your business name. We will review what you are running and give you a straight answer — including if that answer is that you do not need us.
